Howard Alden & George Van Eps-Beautiful Friendship
Howard and the legendary George Van Eps in 1991, playing "This Is The End of a Beautiful Friendship" with the great Jake Hanna on drums and Dave Stone on bass. This clip was part of a pilot for a proposed TV series "Jazz Generations", hosted by Los Angeles Times writer Charles Champlin.
My Shining Hour
A clip from Howard's Mel Bay DVD, "Live At The Smithsonian Jazz Café" filmed in January 2006- Harold Arlen's tune "My Shining Hour", with bassist Jon Burr and drummer Rob Garcia(and the title tune of Howard's solo guitar CD on Concord Records).
